Beyonce named most valuable celebrity on social media

Queen Bey has emerged the most valued celebrity on social media according to a new report about social media reach by D’Marie Analytics.
Apparently, a single post from the “Lemonade” singer is worth more than $1 million of advertising value.

This means Beyonce is the 22nd most followed personality online.
That distinction doesn’t actually relate to her cumulative number of followers, though.  Instead, according to D’Marie, it has more to do with the authenticity of her content.
Using an algorithm that measures 56 metrics across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, the star’s value was determined.

Those metrics did include the follower count, but they also encompassed reach, engagement, click-through, and action conversions.

Meanwhile, Selena Gomez, the most followed person on Instagram, is closely behind Beyoncé when it comes to the worth of a single post.

Real reason Tonto Dike lied about her marriage

Nigerian actress, singer, and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has reacted to a fan who called her out for deceiving Nigerians about her marriage to her estranged husband, Olakunle Churchhill whom she called a Psychopath.

The reaction came after the actress shared a post on her Instagram page @Tontolet about how being abused by a psychopath is not obvious until when relationship is over.

The fan @gbolly_12 commented, saying the fact that she lied about her marriage was an abuse on all Nigerians.

“The fact you lied to your followers about being in a comfortable relationship and using your media power to hype the so called ‘Psychopath’ is an abuse on everybody.
“Yea it feels so good when you start dating him but I’m sure you can tell at some point that it doesn’t feel right but you chose to push on with it.

“Madam Move on with your life shit happens.

Recall that Tonto Dikeh had revealed that all the stuff posted on her Instagram page including the Lexus 570 jeep and pieces of jewellery claiming her husband bought were all lies.

However, the mother of one responded saying all pretence about expensive gifts given to her by her husband on social media was to make him grow and not to fool anyone.

“That am really sorry I did. I don’t do it to fool anyone. I wanted this man to grow and it worked.
“People don’t associate with losers or not relevant people. I have no excuse for my behaviour but my intention here was solely to help a man grow!!”

Don Jazzy and co made money because of our efforts - Eedris Abdulkareem

Nigerian hip hop artist, Eedris Abdulkareem, born Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem Ajenifuja  believes that the success of the new generation artists can be traced to sacrifices made by veteran acts like himself.
He went on to say that celebrities like Don Jazzy, amongst others, only made money because of their efforts.

Speaking during an interview with Hip TV, he said that Mavins boss had been stranded music wise, in London and only had his breakthrough after he returned to Nigeria.

“Without the old artists, the new artists won’t make money, because we fought for the life that they are living right now.
“We put food on their table because of what we fought for, and we are very happy, and that’s why we are legends, you understand. But if anyone of them tries to disrespect, we will put them back to where they belong.

“All of them, from Don Jazzy and all of them, they lived in London, how come the British government never gave them the opportunity, they had to come to Nigeria because we made it happen,” he said.
In some sense, this could be seen as true but is there more to this continuous mention of Don Jazzy’s name?
We will just sit back and wait for whatever follows this.
