"Sahara reporters have promoted their stupitidy" - Dino Melaye
By: Mr and Mrs AG on 05:48:00 / comment : 0 clap backs, Nigerian news, politics, sahara reporters, updates
Controversial senator Dino Melaye has taken to social media to rubbish Sahara Reporters claim that he did not graduate from ABU. According to him, no amount of blackmail, lies and intimidation will prevent him from saying the truth.
Below is what he said said and how his fans reacted....
'Sahara Reporters have promoted their stupidity and hate to an advertisement level. One will imagine how you did not graduate from a university and still be able to run masters in the same school. I am presently a student of ABU running my 3rd degree programme in the same university and 7th degree in whole. No amount of blackmail, lies, intimidation, harassment, name calling will detract my attension from speaking the truth at all times. I have conquered fear. I fear no soul, I only respect souls. Fake documents paraded by Sowore only exhibit the desperation of his pay masters. I ready for una. God pass man' |

A new President will emerge in Nigeria soon - Primate Olabayo
By: Mr and Mrs AG on 01:55:00 / comment : 0 Osinbanjo, politics, President Buhari, religion
The founder of Evangelical Church of Yahweh Worldwide, Primate Theophilus Olabayo, says ``time has come for a new president to emerge in Nigeria.''
``A man of destiny is going to take over in another dimension."
"God told me that the president has done well but his time is up, Aso Rock is vacant, nobody is there. And God told me that he will raise up a man who loves Nigeria to take over," said the Primate.
"It's not going to be business as usual, God is taking over this country, what happened in America is going to happen in Nigeria. New Nigeria will be born. Most of those people who stole our wealth, God told me that they will be exposed wherever they are.
"What God revealed to me is that enemies of this country, enemies that are always putting wrong people there to punish us... God said he has put a lion there, on the seat of the leader of this country, nobody is sitting there.
"And anybody that doesn't love this country, that they want to go all out to fix people there, God will consume them."
Mr. Olabayo's prophecy comes one week after he called for a three-day national fasting and prayer to avert an impending "darkness" hovering over Nigeria.
President Muhammadu Buhari began a 10 working day vacation on January 19, but wrote to extend the leave indefinitely on Feb. 5.
Last week, Mr. Olabayo had commended Buhari, describing him as the only Nigerian leader to confront corruption frontally.
"The president has gone on leave, that's what we were told. He's a human being. Even if he's sick, nothing is wrong for him to tell us as a country to pray for him," the church leader had said.
"Whoever wishes him dead is an enemy of this country because the man has really tried. First time we saw a man who confronted those looters and they are not happy, They are ganging up against him and throwing missiles against him.''

Unconfirmed News: Buhari Rejected Okonjo Iweala as running mate - Tunde Bakare
By: Mr and Mrs AG on 00:12:00 / comment : 0 politics
Both men contested the election under the platform of the then Congress for Progressives Change (CPC), but lost to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Addressing his congregants in Ogba, Lagos, last month, Bakare said Buhari rejected former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s choice of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former minister of finance.
BUHARI REJECTED OKONJO-IWEALA
“The day I signed that paper was the last day of submission. I carried the candidacy paper with me, but I didn’t fill. The final day, Nasir el-Rufai (current governor of Kaduna) came to my room, and said Chief Obasanjo summoned him, that if he could appoint Okonjo-Iweala and drop Bakare, he (Obasanjo) will support Buhari.
“I was so glad, I was totally relieved, I took the nomination paper and I said ‘let us go to General Buhari’s room’. He took us to his bedroom, only three of us there.
“I said Nasir el-Rufai has just come to tell me good news, President Obasanjo has spoken to IBB, has also spoken to Dangote, they will now support you if you can only substitute Ngozi Iweala and let me go.
“I said, sir, there are five reasons why you must yield to this, and he kept on looking at me… Look, many of you don’t know this man… For the ability to keep calm in the midst of storm and not say anything… to hold your peace, I need some Fulani blood.

“I said five reasons why you must embrace this: ‘1. Ngozi Iweala is Delta Igbo; you have solved the problem of south-south and south-east. 2. She’s a Christian, faith balance. 3. She is a woman, gender balance. 4. She is a former minister of finance and external affairs, it is called experience, and currently, her position in the World Bank gives her global exposure, any of this five, I don’t have’.
“He looked at me, and said did Obasanjo meet with you or Nasir? I said honourable minister (el-Rufai), you speak, and he repeated all the things I’ve said. And he (Buhari) asked him, what do you think he (Obasanjo) is up to? He said ‘you know our boss, there is something up his sleeve’.
“Then he turned to me, and said Pastor Bakare I told you I have prayed my own prayer the way I know how to, and I chose you, if you don’t want, give me the form, I would look for somebody else.
“It was then Nasir said, egbon, sign it. In that room ,I signed it, and Nasir seconded it. I left the place and it was as if a burden lifted.”
Bakare said he heard the voice of God to go ahead, which strengthened him in the days ahead.
